Musician, producer, collaborator, impresario, friend, lover, and cat daddy. This page is about sharing my fun, current music hobby exploiting the humble ukulele. My name is Lee, 50ish, gay, in FL. Why the uke? Just for the fun I am actually a classically trained musician with a music degree in violin. But I didn't like the outlook of the teaching/gig life and went into nonprofit mgmt., retired the violin after 25 years. One day yrs. later, as I perused a music shop, I saw this cheap uke and remembered it being my first instrument as a kid. I thought "what would it be like to play this humble thing after all of these years of music training?" So I did! I know it's the brunt of jokes as a novelty instrument outside of Hawaii. My goal is to make it sound like it's not a toy. Everything you hear is me, live, self-taught as I go, except most vocals. My true goal was from Covid lockdown: learn how to record, and edit sound and videos. All from an iPad, vocal tracks, 7 ukes, and synth.
